So I heard he recorded a Holliday Album? Seriously? I don't even want to comment on that. I will say, this is most likely my favorite Dylan tune. Everytime I hear this it reminds me of that classic stoner movie Dazed and Confused. High School was pretty much like that for me. Riding in cool muscle cars and getting blazed out of your skull. I really dig the violin in this, plus seeing him do it live is a bonus!

Now W&R, you know that of course i pre-ordered that CD, & got the deluxe version too, the one that includes the Five (5!) Dylan Xmas cards? So if you don't want to comment, I will: Bob, in full cracked glory, sings Here Comes Santa Claus, also It Must Be Santa!! What's not to like?? :-)

I'm all for charity, I'm a big fan of it. I just can't see Bob singing here comes Santa, maybe I could get really toasty and I might like it. I do want to see the christmas cards!! Thanks for supporting us, it means a lot to the band. When ever you come to a gig, I have to try and outdo myself to impress you somehow. I would never want to disappoint you with our show!

Because after I get back from my next Chicago trip late Tuesday night i think/hope I'll be home for the rest of the month of November and that means ... i'll be banging on my guitar all November trying to get some minimal chops up so that I can take advantage of taking guitar lessons from you in December. And trust me, you'll be like, oh god, I'm not getting paid NEAR enough to put up with this!
But if I could play half as good as you I would feel like I'd done something with my life so I'm psyched.
